For a little while i was only going on xbox live in a basic form affraid of playing against people just incase they thought i was really crap at the game and i did'nt want to show myself up, but last night was the first time that i enjoyed xbox live since i got it in.
What happened i hear you ask well a few people off my friends list (some of them i've never played against before) had a big game of gears of war it has to be one of the best experiences i've had with the 360 since my purchase and hopfully won't be the last one.
My excitment is also slowly building this week when on friday i will finally be geting my hand on the wii, everybody in my household has been really pissed of with me in the last month because all i've been going on about is the nintendo Wii, for all it's out this friday the hell does'nt stop because i will be hounding them about the games e.t.c until they scream.
I will also be able to finally get my hands on a game that i've been waiting for longer than the Wii and thats the new zelda game, this game has taken ages to come out and i'm hoping that the game does live up to the hype.
So next weekend all i'll be doing is playing a shit load of zelda.
One piece of gaming news that i came across yesterday on another friends blog is that sony might be dropping out of the console market at the end of the PS3 life, while this does'nt affect me because i'm not that of a huge sony fan it might affect the gaming industry as sony has been the market leader for a while and in a way brought gaming to the publics eyes with the playstation 1 so losing sony might be a good thing for nintendo and microsoft but it might affect the gaming industry.
Another big question to come out of this news story is that if sony do drop out of the console market will they still make games and for what format because for a little while microsoft have been there big rival so do they make games for the next micrsoft gaming console or just for the next nintendo console.
The best bet for them would be to do a sega and release games on all formats just to make sure that more gamers actually play them.
There has'nt been anything else going on in the gaming industry this week apart from microsft saying that there will be a 60 second teaser for the next halo game on tuesday.
So i guess next week should be a brilliant week then.
Well thats all i can be bothered to type for now as my fingers are hurting and my brain is hurting for thinking what to type in this blooody blog.
So thats me finished for now.
