update again

so with me promising a new update i wonder where the best place to start is and i think i will tell you all what i thoguht of call of duty 3 and gears of war.

First off call of duty 3, the game is just a standard by the numbers first person shooter however like the other call of duty games there is something with it that makes it feel a little different, yes it's more of the same like call of duty 2 and yes there has'nt been any big improvements but when a game is'nt broke why fix it and call of duty is'nt broke (yet). I really did enjoy this game a little more than call of duty 2 but it is a short game and i have'nt managed to play much on xbox live yet.

Second up is gears of war a game that has been hyped up so much that if it failed just a little people would just scream and the game falls somewhere in between. The game does'nt want to make you scream however it does'nt live up to the hype it has been getting, i'm not saying that it's a bad game (in fact its a very good game) but it does'nt live up to all of the hype.
I did enjoy the time i had with it but like call of duty 3 it's a really short game and there is'nt anything new about it. However one of the biggest selling points for this game has to be the co-op mode this works really well and i've had the chance to play with a few people and really enjoyed it, on top off all of that the game gets really hard on the higher difficult settings.
One last bad point has to be the A.I it really does suck and can be a real pain in the arse when the game gets really difficult.

Well thats all i've been playing in the last few weeks i'm now just waiting to get my hands on a Wii.

There has'nt been anything else thats been interesting in the last few weeks but it is close to christmas so i guess things should be happening soon (i hope).

P.S i'm just playing through a game on the ds called elite beat agents and so far the game is completely nuts.
